The 2016 model year is right around the corner for Nissan and that means it’s time to look back on how well the automaker did in 2015. Nissan took home plenty of awards on a variety of models through innovation and buyer feedback. From value to safety, Nissan took home enough awards to fill the shelf and then some. We can’t name them all here (the list would be too long) but here are just a few of the best!
The 2015 Nissan Altima started off year right with the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety naming it a Top Safety Pick. Kelley Blue Book also named the midsize sedan to the 10 Best Sedans Under $25,000.
Taking a step back to the compact cars, we can see the Sentra improved drastically over the 2014 model. In 2015, it took home a Top Safety Pick award from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety.
The crossover segment has grown dramatically over the past year and that leaves the Murano with its own shelf of awards as well. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety named it a Top Safety Pick+ vehicle. It also ranked first on U.S. News’s Best 2-Row SUV. On top of those, the Murano made it onto Ward’s 10 Best Interiors list.
Awards are nice, but what about consumer ratings?
The 2015 Nissan Murano blew away the competition, earning 5/5 stars on Edmunds and a 9.8/10 on KBB.com.
