Find Out More

The 2019 Nissan Altima makes its big debut this year with a completely new look. It’s been redesigned inside and out to be more modern, sophisticated, and advanced. With it's lower, longer, and wider stance, the Nissan Altima fits in more with other Nissan models like the Murano and Maxima.

The Nissan Altima is available at five trim levels: 2.5S, 2.5 SR, 2.5 SV, 2.5 SL, and 3.5 SL.

Powertrains and Performance

The base engine on the Altima is a 2.5-liter four-cylinder that generates 188 horsepower and 180 lb-ft of torque. For even more power this year, the upper trim levels of the new Altima boast a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine rated at 248 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque. Both engines come with a Continuously Variable Transmission that Nissan says has improved acceleration and efficiency.

Another new addition this year is the availability of all-wheel drive. Buyers can opt for this advanced system with the base engine.

Interior Design

Inside, the Altima boasts a premium new design with abundant technology features. The available premium leather-appointed interior will keep you riding in comfort no matter where you go. In addition, the standard Remote Engine Start works with the Intelligent Climate Control System to make sure your Altima is at just the right temperature before you even open the door.

Standard Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ make it easy to connect your smartphone and use your favorite apps directly on the Altima’s
touch screen.

Safety

The 2019 Altima will be one of the first Nissan models to offer ProPILOT Assist as an option. This suite of advanced driver assist technologies will feature some semiautonomous driving capabilities. Adaptive Cruise Control can follow along with traffic, even slowing down to a stop and starting back up again as traffic moves. And, the self-steering feature can keep the Altima within its lane.
